Features
NISA MED is a medication reminder and adherence app. During Early Access, these tools are included at no cost.
Reminders
Add more than one reminder time when a medication is taken through the day. Each time stands on its own.
A schedule can repeat every day, on specific days, every set number of days, or on selected dates. It starts on a date you choose and can run with no end date, end after a set number of days, or end on a date.
Needs Attention keeps past reminders that were not resolved, so they stay visible until you follow up.
Family
Manage your profile and add family members when you organize their medications too. A relationship label is optional. Medications, schedules, history, and refill information stay on the profile they belong to.
During Early Access you can add the family profiles you need.
A reminder for someone else still says “Time to take your medication” and “Tap to view your medication.” It does not show that person’s name, the medication name, or the dosage.
Refills
The refill tracker is a count you maintain in the app. It is not a pharmacy order.
Enter how much you have on hand when you add the medication or update the count.
Set how much one dose uses so the count can step down by that amount.
Choose the level that should count as low, so you can see it before the supply is gone.
Only doses marked Taken reduce the supply. You can also update the supply directly when you refill.
Adherence
History records Taken, Skipped, and Missed. When a dose is eligible, you can correct its status.
During Early Access, history includes Taken, Skipped, and Missed, and you can make a detailed report for one medication or all medications, for this week, this month, or a custom date range.
From a detailed report you can export a PDF or share it on Android.
Voice
Generic Voice Reminders are included during Early Access and are optional. When voice is on, the app says “It’s time for your medication.” It does not speak the medication name, the dosage, or a family member’s name.
“It’s time for your medication.”
Privacy
Reminder notifications say “Time to take your medication” and “Tap to view your medication.” They do not display the medication name, the dosage, or a family member’s name. Those details stay in the app on the device.
