Notifications and reminders

A reminder is a prompt that a scheduled dose is due. You can mark it Taken, snooze it for 10 minutes, or skip it.

The notification says “Time to take your medication” and “Tap to view your medication.” It does not show the medication name, the dosage, or a family member’s name. Open the app to see the dose on your account.

A reminder is not appearing
  • Confirm the medication has a schedule, a start date that has begun, and at least one reminder time.
  • Check that the schedule has not passed its end date, or its “end after a set number of days” limit.
  • Allow notifications for NISA MED in your phone’s notification settings, including sound or banners if you want them.
  • Check Needs Attention. A reminder you already received may be waiting there instead of alerting again.
  • Restart the app after you change notification permission.
Snooze

Snooze delays that reminder by 10 minutes. It does not mark the dose Taken or Skipped, and it does not change the supply count.

Taken and Skip

Taken records the dose and reduces supply by the amount you set per dose. Skip records that the dose was not taken. Skip does not reduce supply.

If the recorded status is wrong and the dose is eligible, you can correct it in History.

Medication schedules

You can schedule a medication for every day, specific days, every set number of days, or selected dates. Add each dose time separately.

Every schedule has a start date. For the end, choose no end date, end after a set number of days, or a specific end date.

Refill Tracker

Enter the current supply, the amount used per dose, and the low-supply threshold. The count steps down when you mark a dose Taken. When you restock, update the supply in the app.

The tracker does not place a pharmacy order.

Family Care

Manage your profile and add family members. A relationship label is optional. Medications, schedules, history, and refill information belong to the profile you add them to.

During Early Access you can add the family profiles you need. Notifications for a family member stay generic and do not show that person’s name.

Voice Reminders

Voice Reminders are included during Early Access. When they are on, the app says “It’s time for your medication.” It does not speak the medication name, the dosage, or a family member’s name. Leave voice off if you only want the notification.

Adherence reports

History shows Taken, Skipped, and Missed. During Early Access you can make a detailed report for one medication or all medications, for this week, this month, or a custom date range, and export a PDF.

Account

Sign in to keep your account separate from other people. Medication schedules, history, and refill information are stored on the device for that account. Uninstalling the app removes those records from the device. Early Access has no subscription charge to cancel.

Delete account

You can delete your account from inside the app. Deletion removes the sign-in account and the medication records stored on that device. Early Access has no charge to cancel. See Refund & Cancellation.
