Acceptance
By creating an account, downloading the app, or using the website, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, the Medical Disclaimer, and the Refund & Cancellation page. If you do not agree, do not use NISA MED.
These terms do not choose a governing state and do not require arbitration. Rights that a law does not allow to be waived still apply.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and to use NISA MED. The service is not offered to children as account holders.
The service
NISA MED is a reminder and adherence organization tool for Android. You enter medication schedules, reminder times, dose history, refill counts, and profiles. The app reminds you and keeps that record on the device. It does not sync medication data to a NISA MED cloud.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. A schedule in the app is the schedule you created. It is not proof that a dose is appropriate. Follow your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified professional when their instructions differ from what you typed.
Free Early Access
The current public offer is Free Early Access. The current features are included at no cost. That includes unlimited medicines, more than one reminder time per medicine, standard notifications, generic Voice Reminders, unlimited family profiles, Taken and Skipped tracking, basic refill tracking, detailed adherence reports, and PDF export.
There is no trial to activate, no subscription, no card, and no automatic charge. This website does not take payment. Early Access features and availability may change with advance notice. These terms do not set a future price or a refund window.
No medical advice
NISA MED does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or prescribing. It does not check interactions or verify a dosage. It is not an emergency service and will not call 911 for you. The Medical Disclaimer is part of these terms.
If you think you or someone else is having a medical emergency in the United States, call 911.
Accounts
An account is required to use the app. Sign-in uses Firebase Authentication. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your sign-in private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Email support@nisamed.com if you believe someone else is using it. Do not include medication details.
NISA MED may refuse, suspend, or close an account that appears compromised, abusive, or in breach of these terms. You may stop using the service and delete the account at any time.
You need a compatible Android device. A minimum Android version is not stated here. Sign-in needs a connection to Firebase Authentication. Reminder delivery after that depends on the device.
Profiles
Your account includes your profile. During Early Access you can add the family profiles you need. A relationship label is optional. Medications, schedules, history, and refill information belong to the profile you attach them to.
If you add a family profile, you represent that you have authority to enter that person’s medication information. Family Care is household organization inside your account. It is not professional caregiving, clinical monitoring, or a separate account for that person. It does not confirm that a dose was swallowed.
Acceptable use
Use NISA MED for personal and household medication organization. You may export a report for your own records or to share with someone you choose. You are responsible for what you share.
You may not use the service if you are under 18, access another person’s account without authorization, interfere with the app, the website, or Firebase Authentication, present a reminder or report as a clinical instruction, or use the service to operate a clinic, pharmacy, or emergency service. You may not reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly allows it.
Reminder limits
NISA MED does not guarantee that a reminder will be delivered, seen, or heard. Delivery can fail if notifications are blocked, Do Not Disturb is on, the battery is restricted, the device is off, the clock is wrong, storage is full, or the system stops the app. Needs Attention can keep an unresolved reminder visible in the app. That list is not a promise you will see it in time.
The notification text is “Time to take your medication” and “Tap to view your medication.” It does not show the medication name, the dosage, or a family member’s name.
Voice Reminders are optional. When they are on, the spoken line is “It’s time for your medication.” The app does not speak the medication name, the dosage, or a family member’s name. You may not hear it if the device is silent. Voice is not a medical instruction.
The app, website, and features can change, pause, or stop. NISA MED does not promise uninterrupted availability.
Account deletion
You may delete your account in the app. Deletion removes the authentication account and the medication records stored on that device for the account. It does not delete a file you already exported.
Uninstalling the app removes the on-device record from that phone. Uninstalling does not, by itself, delete the authentication account. Early Access has no charge for deletion or uninstalling to cancel. See Refund & Cancellation.
Intellectual property and feedback
The app, website, and the NISA MED name belong to their owner or licensors. These terms give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive right to use them for their intended purpose while you follow these terms. You keep ownership of the medication information you enter.
If you email a suggestion to support@nisamed.com, the operator may use it to operate and improve the service, without an obligation to pay you. Do not include medication details.
The service uses Google’s Firebase Authentication, and this website is prepared for Firebase Hosting. Those services have their own terms.
Warranties, liability, and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NISA MED is provided as is and as available. The operator disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and any warranty that reminders will be delivered, that records will be accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet a medical need. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers, so those disclaimers apply only as far as the law allows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and its personnel are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, missed or extra doses, personal injury, or health outcomes from using or being unable to use the service. This includes a reminder that does not arrive and a record that reflects what you entered.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for NISA MED in the twelve months before the claim. If you paid nothing, the limit is the minimum amount the law allows for a free tool. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them.
To the extent permitted by law, you will indemnify the operator and its personnel from claims and reasonable expenses arising out of your misuse of the service, the information you enter, a profile you manage for someone else, a report you share, or a violation of these terms. This does not require you to cover the operator’s own fraud or liability the law does not allow to be shifted to you.
If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms and the linked policies are the entire agreement for the app and website. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. Sections that should continue after an account ends, including medical limits, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity, still apply.
Changes
These terms can be updated by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. If you continue to use the app or website after that date, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service and delete the account.
